Stockstatus

Details

The module can display 4 different states to the user:

1. In stock: Displays that the product is available, you can also add an extra line (like order before some time for next day delivery)

2. Available status: This is for items that have no local stock but you allow backorders for. For example you can display: Delivery in 2-5 days. This is configurable per product or global for the store.

3. Available date: This is for items that have no local stock, allows backorders and have set an available date for the product. This is handy for new products that will be available on a specified date.

4. No available: This is for productes that have no local stock and backorders disabled (yust like out of stock).

5. NEW: Replaced by: If the product is out-of-stock and you configured a replacement product_id with the product it displays a link to the new product.

Stockstatus works with Simple and Configurable products and displays the availablility on both the product detail page and the checkout page. On the checkout page the Qty. ordered is checked and the message is updated depending on the status for that Qty.
